Kevin Garnett Could Be On His Way Back To NBA

Former NBA MVP and future Hall of Famer may have retired from basketball after last season, but he could be on his way back to the NBA in a different capacity this year.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, KG is currently talking with multiple teams about becoming a “coaching consultant.” That short list of teams include the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers.

A 15 time All Star in the NBA, Garnett retired as 17th on the all-time points list, and 9th on the all-time rebounds list.

Garnett won the league MVP for the 2003-04 NBA season, and won a title with the Boston Celtics in 2007-08.

Cavaliers head Tyronn Lue has had a professional relationship with Garnett before, and has expressed interest in bringing him as a coaching consultant as soon as this year. Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has also reportedly expressed interest.

His extensive basketball resume certainly makes him an attractive coaching candidate to just about every team in the NBA.
